Yesterday I spent 9.5 hours in a workshop lead by Mark Edward Lewis.  He was full of reminders, tips and tricks.  The section on creating custom sound effects and foley recording was very interesting.  It's one more layer that will add greater depth to a project.  It was nice to see some of the newer software that can help salvage audio tracks that otherwise might be lost.
