Everything I knew about live production came in to play for this awesome one-time collective worship.
Top notch conference and worships for church tech gurus of all levels.
No power, no problem. It was bright sunny morning and Ginghamsburg's Tipp City Campus was without power. Canceling worship was never an option. Kim emptied her candle cache to light the worship area and key points through out the building. I'll admit, I said a little prayer that the power didn't come back on rest of the morning. It was one of the most powerful worships I've ever experienced. Dan created this film to document this powerful powerless celebration.
I think something is wrong with this calculation.
I'm not one for music videos in that they almost never have anything to do with the lyrics. Often, you hear that the artist don't understand it either. Yesterday, I came across this one. I had never heard of the band Simple Plan. This video was either done for or in partnership with Mother Against Driving Drunk. The visuals are powerful and should really hit home. Not only a family being torn apart from DWI but any other unexpected death. Great job Simple Plan.
It was the summer of 1994. I was off the coast of Louisiana on a jack-up drilling rig filming for a marketing film for one of the largest oilfield services companies. While checking-in and reviewing the rig's safety/evacuation procedures, we were met by the Tool Pusher. He give my client a hard plastic case that had his company's name on it. There was a pad-lock on the case which one of the technicians had a key. He opened the case and to my surprise everything in the case was dry and in working order. The case was lost a month earlier when one of their crews was transferring from a work boat to the rig in foul-weather. The case was from Pelican Products.
UPDATE:
Since then I have purchase over a hundred cases. From the smallest to their largest. Everyone is still in service.
